Pipes Blog         Pipes V2 engine timeline. June 10, 2011 at 3:55 PM   The V2 engine will be phased in 2 steps. June 28, 2011 - All new Pipes will use the V2 engine and you will no longer be able to revert to V1. Existing V1 Pipes will still continue to run as V1. August 1, 2011 - *All* Pipes will be upgraded to the new V2 engine.
