Answer from EddieNygma 4 people found this helpful I keep all of my old books
It's insane!! I've had to put in a couple of custom bookcases just to hold all of them. The truth of the matter is I rarely re-read old books, so I should probably donate them to the library or sell them at a used bookstore, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Those books are like old friends, like past lives I've lived. I'd feel bad getting rid of them.
Maybe one day I'll have the time to revisit some of the ones that made the greatest impressions on me. I guess that's my rationale for keeping them. But pretty soon they're going to bury me, so maybe it is time to start that re-reading project or time to add a new wing to the house. :)

Answer from 55392056734 3 people found this helpful Donate them to a local library or sell them
Depends on the books - if they’re recent and popular, and they’re in good condition, donating them to your local library is always a great idea! (Of course, I might be a little biased - I work at a library...) A lot of donations we get are unusable (outdated or in bad condition), but donations of usable books are always appreciated.
When I need to get rid of a lot of books quickly, I usually sell them to my local Half Price Books store. They don’t pay a lot (I usually get $5-$10 for a box, more if there are more popular books), but they take them all, and I get good money for them - which I usually use to buy more books and music.

Answer from iheartwars 2 people found this helpful I've been trying to sell them on Amazon or ebaying them off in large quantities
You won't make to much money off the reselling of books, but some of them you can, make sure you individually check each one before you would put them into a bulk package.
Also, making them into wallpaper, could be fun... but its just an idea.
Note: if you'd like to read the book again, I'd not suggest doing either of these things.

Answer from CTJeeper 1 people found this helpful Keep them
Filling up the bookshelf with all the books, new and old. Trying to create the foundation for hopefully a nice library to pass on.
